ACTIVITIES AT THE COURTHOUSE


ENGLISH SPEAKING CLASS
Failte Isteach is a community project involving predominantly volunteers welcoming migrants to conversational English classes. Held each Tuesday morning at 9;30am these prove very popular in aiding integration by means of helping navigate the difficulties often experienced by those wishing to develop their conversational English.
DRAMA GROUP
The Tulla Drama group follows a long tradition in Tulla for drama. The current group was reconstituted in 1988 and 34 years on is still thriving, Beginning with Pub theatre in the late 80's and Three Act Drama festivals in the 90's qualifying for the All Ireland on a number of occasions.
Group members now put on an annual show normally one of the stage classics with a professional and entertaining enthusiasm which receives sold out acclaim each year.

COUNTRY MARKET
Our fortnightly Country Market held in the Courthouse sells a variety of locally sourced food and and crafts. Held every other Saturday morning between 10.00am and 2.00 pm. All welcome.

TULLA HISTORY GROUP
Tulla History Group was founded by the late Michael Torpey.
The Group uses Tulla Courthouse for monthly meetings except for summer months and
organises an outdoor event in Summer, usually a guided tour
We have a regular attendance of up to 40 people but we always welcome new members
The availability of a built-in overhead projector facilitates PowerPoint presentations and
film projection.
